Devil May Cry 4 (Xbox 360) review

Hack, slash, shoot, slash, shoot, shoot hack. Aaron asks if demons really do blub… Nero does, however, have another trick up his sleeve, literally. Neros sword also has a nifty fuel injection system. Nero twists the handle like a motorbikes throttle and revs the sword up. But, this time, you cant spend these on abilities. Instead youre awarded Proud Souls upon completing a level, and get more the higher your rank....

Sega Superstar Tennis (Wii) review

To play requires no knowledge of the character backgrounds as its simply a tennis game. Theres even aHouse of the Deadcourt where the mini games involve hitting balls into zombies! No blood though slashes and bites are green and you dont see anything gross taking place at all. The game is totally child safe. you might choose to be a Sega geek, in other words, or just plug n play....

Master and Commander Blu-ray review

Based on the novels of Patrick OBrian, this seafaring journey couldnt be more different from Disneys theme-park ride. But then nothing aboutMaster and Commanderfeels like it was made in Hollywood. The Film The Extras Rating: 4 out of 5

Max Out: Annabel Jankel interview

The casual viewer would guess that you were leaving a car park at the time….? The brief was to link music videos with graphic elements to segue between the music videos. Aside from the obvious technological anachronisms, was it a prophetic show? Maps and weather on Prodigy, and hugely dull, so we could only speculate the potential. In hindsight, its surprising though! Did you attempt to render the character before deciding on an actor?...

Max Out: William Morgan Sheppard interview

His latest film role finished only a week ago, on J.J. Abrams new imagining ofStar Trek. No, its gained. Without Max I wouldnt have ended up in America. In America I have more visibility. Pimps, Hos, Playa Hatas And All The Rest Of My Hollywood Friends review

John Leguizamo’s candid autobiography - including his work on Annabel Jankel’s Super Mario Bros - hits paperback. He aint afraid to call it as it is, and frequently does. Often hilarious, occasionally patchy, you nonetheless cant help but be drawn into the tales he tells. Rating: 4 out of 5

No More Heroes Nintendo Wii review

But will he be disappointed? And, coming from the same creator who gave us the trippyKiller7, you just know anything will. With his new found weapon, what does he go and do? He goes and kills the 11th highest ranking assassin in the UAA (United Assassins Association) of course! The meat of the game is found in the main combat missions. Swing the Wii remote in this direction and youll perform a killing blow....

Patapon PSP review

This can be achieved by the pressing the buttons on your PSP in different sequences. So if you want them to move forward its two circle keys, one triangle and one circle. And like riding a bike, the whole thing becomes second nature you after a hour or so. Visually, the graphics are superb. And its damn good fun. But instead the focus is purely on this well designed, alarmingly addictive, unique and visually solid release....

Independence Day Blu-ray review

How does an alien invasion play out in 1080p? Say what you like about Emmerichs inability to end his films: he sure can start them. The evidence is on screen for a good hour. Doggie Dash PC review

Fancy a casual game for a Monday? Lucy recommends you try out the latest in the Dash series. And this one has a canine flavour… Cards on the table: Im a complete casual games freak. Doggie Dashworks on a similar theme to the previously mentioned games. Only this time youre not waiting tables or organising weddings, youre running a pet grooming parlour. You get the idea. And there are also different types of cats and dogs, some of which are more patient than others....
