Her very unsuitability for dealing with what befalls her provides many ofOrphan Blacks lighter moments.

Shes not a great fighter, but shes called upon to fight.

Bechdel test in a satisfyingly unusual way.

Another similarity withVeronica Marsis thatOrphan Blackthankfully doesnt take itself too seriously.

Its creators affectionately refer toOrphan Blackas a wacky little [redacted] show, and theyre not wrong.
