They say and do terrible things, and yet despite this they remain likeable, or at least interesting.

Even if you dont find their jokes funny, they do important plot and character work.

Consider the Hulk, though, inThe Avengers.

Theres no change, theres less shock, its potentially just numbing.

A sense of fun, of lightness is safer.
