With overtones of 24 to it, Vantage Point builds an ultimately routine thriller around a promising concept… Only, er, it wont.
But it might keep you entertained for a bit.
And for a while, thats whatVantage Pointis.

But it doesnt really last.
For while the concept ofVantage Pointhas promise, its not quite tight enough to fully pull it all off.
Still, it does have a few punches in its favour.
Its all a bit dry, but at least theres some substance in there.
The most interesting extra feature, although again its more gimmick than use, is the GPS option.
With this enabled, you’ve got the option to track each character throughout the film.
It doesnt help the film itself, though.
The level of detail is astounding, and it never faltered once to our eye.
It makes for an active and involving soundstage.
