Actually, theres a little debate concerning what, exactly,The Lost Legacyis.
Is a standalone title?
Is it the start of a spin-off?
Its best to think ofUncharted: The Lost Legacyas an old-school PC game expansion.
It was, in short, an epic story whereasLost Legacys plot is more accurately described as eventful.
Chloe and Nadine often do helpLost Legacys story feel fresh even though the games narrative structure is fairly familiar.
At the same time, Nathan Drakes ghost does haunt some of the storytelling methods.
InUncharted 4, Nadine was half-a-terminator.
She was a force of nature whose charm was often a lure.
Fortunately, though, Nadine and Chloe for that matter often get to shine via the games action sequences.
Its not just the level design that makesLost Legacys action stand out, though.
Even basic brawls often resemble the battle between the brothers Drake and Nadine inUncharted 4.
Sadly, it soon becomes clear that many of these scenarios are crafted to occur in very specific ways.
That lack of freedom is partially made up for by the games large levels.
Given that the name on the box still reads Uncharted, thats a welcome feeling indeed.
Meanwhile, many of the games puzzle sequences will feel instantly familiar to series regulars.
Its not like this is theirKingdom of the Crystal Skull.
