Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow deliver the comedy of the summer with Trainwreck, a four-letter word for romance.
And the best thing about this set-up is that for Amy, it never truly changes.
And the great news is that they succeed with rousing success.

The reason forTrainwrecks appeal is as much about whats happening off-screen as on it.
However, such precise bedlam has also been whats missing from Apatows recent sentimental and downbeat directorial efforts.
The best laughs ofTrainwreckcome in the films ability to crudely and sometimes brilliantly invert gender stereotypes.
Yet, its when this idea is expanded upon that the film becomes something special.
For example, Aaron is also a doctor for professional athletes.
So, his best friend is of course LeBron James.
But the punch-line isnt that LeBron is making a cameo.
Unlike women in earlier man-child centric Apatow films, Aaron as the love interest is genuinely interesting.
For those looking for the comedy of the summer, its time to drink up.
