It’s a darker Torchwood world that’s being explored in the latest spin-off novel… Theres enough complexity here to keep the story moving along without it becoming weighed down by its own intricacy.
There is bad language, but it doesnt feel shoe horned in or unnecessary.
So, why only four stars?
Yes, the novel is good.Yes, Baxendales writing flows with tension.
Its definitely worth reading and doesnt have the rushed feel that the ending to his previousTorchwoodnovel had.
It all came down the reset idea in the end.
