This is a big game, packed with content.
Its here whereTheWitcherdoes plenty to set itself apart from the majority of the competition.
Combat, as I mentioned before, is real-time, and you have full control of Geralt.
Theres no clicking on foes and watching as the action happens automatically here, its all you.
Its a steep learning curve, but one that pays off with perseverance.
Finger gymnastics
Sadly, this learning isnt helped by an admittedly complex and sometimes clunky control system.
Its very impressive, and makes for a very rich fighting experience.
Its a cool effect, and one that works well.
Of course, this is an RPG, and as you level up you might learn even more abilities.
The thing is, although youll notice these little quirks as you play, you just wont care.
Its an essential purchase, and certainly one of the best action RPGs of recent years.
