Could the faux-doc horror thriller The Visit be a return to form for M. Night Shyamalan?
And if that image sounds disturbing, theres more where that came from.
Even though Shyamalan handles it more skillfully than most, it still feels unnecessary.
But its not fatal.
And on a narrative level,The Visitsustains a level of weird creepiness throughout.
Lets hope he comes back here more often.
