For Washington, thats a literal indulgence.
Its all bluster and noise, of course, but its very good bluster and noise.
And best not to think of it as a remake.
But this is a Tony Scott film.
If you go in to it looking for nuance, youre going to be disappointed.
Taken for what it is,Pelham 123does just about enough to make for an entertaining ride.
We also get a featurette on the films hair stylist, which at least scores points for originality.
Although, comparing himself to Tony Scott (theyre both artists, he says) is a bit much.
And thats your lot.
