Shannara Chronicles Season 1, Episode 9
This is it, folks: the end of the Bloodfire quest.
Which is why Ive been suspicious of this seasons way of endearing her at weird moments.
Im not saying it didnt work.
Im saying I could sense they were prepping us for her exit.

Being Amberles sacrificial lamb is something that would piss her off, wouldnt it?
That says a lot about what the show considers to be its main emotional conflict, doesnt it?
Nevertheless, Ive enjoyed seeing these two bond over the past three or so episodes.
Something about their rivalry felt forced, while their friendship was much more organic.
But whos to say shes even dead?
She could be alive by the end of the season finale.
Still, its got to suck being Amberles sacrificial punching bag, because its always about Amberle.
Shes the main character: its her world, her story, her Bloodfire, her man.
The whole season will have been about their relationship and not about Wil.
Hes just the guy in the middle.
Such a twist may turnShannarainto the slashiest genre show to ever slash on TV this side ofSupernatural.
(If that happens, I swear to God Ill start referring to this show asThe Slashnara Chronicles.)
known as the Filli Apocalypsi.
I want to know more about this, so lets bring her back to life you guys.
I get that their consequences have an effect on Amberles storyline.
I get that they serve a necessary function.
Im just not entertained by them.
For me, the action is where Amberle, Wil, and Eritrea are at.
Anything else is an excuse to check your phone.
Why is he still around?
Hes not even in the book series.
And why did Allanon secretly ruin his life?
I refuse to believe hes that important.
Amberle is going to kick his ass.
Bring on the CGI.
