None of the mobsters are taken from the Marvel Universe, nor are the Yakuza.

The movie does have its charms, however.

He couldnotlook too healthy and be believable.

On screen, when offered a bulletproof vest by Franco, Castle refuses.

That workprint is an interesting curiosity.

The final cut ofThe Punisheris superior to the workprint, however.

The vast majority of the other deleted/extended scenes are completely disposable with one exception.

Its a better version of what was already one of the movies stronger moments.

Its probably for the best.
