The Lego Movie franchise had to stumble eventually, right?
This crew needed a more complete origin story.
Its like watchingThe Return of the Jediwithout having seen the first two movies.
(Although Nanjianis Jay provides some of the films biggest laughs.)
This is particularly frustrating in a franchise that cleverly picked apart the Chosen One narrative in its first film.
