Its a much sunnier show…literally.
Mostly, its daylight in Central City.
The tragedy in Barrys past drives him, to be sure, but it doesnt torment or define him.
WhileThe Flashs lighter approach is refreshing, its a touch squeaky-clean.
This is clearly by design, though.
The Flashpilot packs an awful lot into its 42 minutes.
Its fun, it looks great, but it causes a few hiccups.
Dont worry, though, superhero fans are going to approve ofThe Flash.
There are plenty of opportunities for DC easter egg hunting, from the subtle to the not-so-subtle.
All in all, this is a promising start.
