Nothing about his character is conscripted by race other than he was depicted as white in another medium.
But Johnny Storm is not white.
Hes a fictional character.
Comic book fans often call their beloved brands modern day mythology.
It is how Greek Zeus became the Roman Jupiter.
Soon, it will no longer be some different backstory.
It will just be good casting.
