Star Wars Rebels' epic series finale managed to give fan favorite character Captain Rex an Original Trilogy role.

Star Wars Rebelswrapped things up on a powerfully poignant note with its March 5 series finale event.

Why is this such a big deal?

Fans have given the character the irreverent, Christmas-inspired, nickname, Nik Sant, otherwise known as Gramps.

Thats some kind of… dont pay any attention to that.
