Setup, out on DVD now, is one of those under-the-radar movies.
Its that kind of tomfoolery.
Jackson performs admirably considering the material.
Why Marvel Studios hasnt hoicked him into the comic book movie wagon-train asLuke Cage: Powermanis worth a mystery.
Its not his only one this year either, asCatch .44is heading the same way on the 20th December.
2009s sci-fidentity crisisSurrogatesand 2008sAssassination Of A High School Presidentmet with modest acclaim.
Not so much though for 2007sPerfect Stranger, only released in American cinemas and on DVD in Britain.
Setups plot is so thin as to be immaterial.
No special features were in evidence on the review disc beyond the bog-standard scene selection.
This allows for convenient muting depending on your musical preferences.
Setupis a film by angry men for angry men.
It wont affect Willis career, but is a sign that Jackson needs to look for higher quality scripts.
Phillippe should know better by now.
Watch it while the missus is out, but not when theres any football on.
And try not to hit anyone with the remote.
