Can a film about a living, psychotic tyre called Robert really work as a feature film?
Heres Marks review of Quentin Dupieuxs exceedingly odd Rubber… Its entirely subjective, of course, but I personally found Dupieuxs arch approach quite grating at times.
On the plus side, the third act rescues the film in spectacular fashion.
What will makeRubbera difficult watch for some viewers is Dupieuxs assault on their enjoyment of the film.
