A new age of evil dawns in Resident Evil Revelations 2 thanks to smart design choices and satisfying gameplay.

Here is our review!

In many ways,Revelations 2feels like a slimmer version ofResident Evil 6with a much sharper focus.

But hey, this isResident Evil.

Switching between Claire and Moira on the fly is a real thrill, especially in the heat of combat.

As you might have guessed, Episode 1 is very short.

In fact, the sheer incentive to do so can be overwhelming at times.

And then theres Raid Mode, the quintessential add-on that became such a huge hit in the firstRevelationsgame.

Capcom knew exactly what kind of game they wanted to make withResident Evil Revelations 2.

No bells or whistles, just a quick and satisfying burst of furious gameplay thats nothing but fun.

But by the time the credits rolled and the cliffhanger twist sunk in, I was sold.

The Middle

The end is upon us, as the final episode ofResident Evil Revelations 2arrived yesterday.

The same goes for environmental puzzles as well.

Thats just one of the many choice dialogue sections that will make you do a double-take while you play.

Capcom has mastered the art of campy dialogue and story scenarios, whether theyre really trying to or not.

In a way, I feel likeResident Evil Revelations 2is the game thatResident Evil 6probably should have been.
