They couldnt think of ANYTHING more modern to reference for these racer characters?

Thats a pop culture reference that wasnt dated and didnt detract from the story.
Thats totally a thing youd see out and about in a regular American high school.
Does no one behind the scenes watch current TV or movies?
Are they ONLY comparing themselves to 90s MMPR?
Why arent they trying to step up their game?
Its so odd because for a minutePower Rangersseemed to be doing that.
At the start ofDino Chargewe had continuing conflict between characters.
Shelby and Kendalls arguments felt real.
Shelby wanted Kendall to take her seriously.
Its simple and effective.
Why did they devote so much time to that?
What was the point?
Those thieves didnt need to be dressed like Danny Zuko.
They looked like 90s teenagers.
Ninja Steeljust doesnt work.
While the AHHHNOOLLLLDDD voice was fun, it also felt dated.
Why not try and sound like Vin Diesel?
He even kind of made a joke about family!
Stop living in the 90s and patch your sensibilities about everything.
