If all that wasnt enough, it features some damn fine yodelling.
Burwells score accentuates said effects, particularly through the violin work accompanying the mosquito effects.
His original compositions are supplemented by Russian composer Aram Khachaturians work from hisSpartacusballet.
But they also convey the sparseness of the Minnesota landscape.
His compositions have a strong sense of fun and whimsy with occasional dark and dramatic undertones.
But, then again, both the Coens and Burwell arent ones to shy away from breaking convention.
However, its a film that I enjoy a great deal.
