It never takes itself too seriously, but also never lampoons its characters or strays into out-and-out genre parody.

And hey, where and when do they find out Rufus name?)

Consider, for example, Bill and Teds respective family dynamics.

But in fact, their speech patterns are unique to themselves, and say much about their characters.

This is entirely appropriate, given the reason for their future importance to the world.

Overall the film has a darker visual tone than the first, but its one utterly bristling with imagination.

And they havent done it.

So everybody is kind of like, Where is the song?

Be excellent to each other.

And… PARTY ON, DUDES!
