It was after the wholeDexterandTwilightruns when I took meetings,Ms.
ABC Studios asked what I was interested in doing next.
I said Id love to do a really damaged, complex female superhero, like Iron Man.
They quickly put me together with Jeph Loeb, and he brought meJessica Jones.
It was heavily weighted in that direction.
Much of the Netflix series was inspired by the fourth volume of theAliascomics that the show was based on.
One thing that might have been the same, though, was the casting of Krysten Ritter as Jessica.
She was always on my mind.
Luckily,Jessica Joneswill return for a second season…eventually.
