Eddie Murphy - did your last film, Imagine This, deserve to bomb?
Say what you will about Eddie Murphy, at least hes consistent.
Although, whereNorbitwas offensive andMeet Davecringeworthy,Imagine Thatat least avoids both those pitfalls.
something at least mildly interesting.
Like Steve Martin, Murphy seems content to continue to lend his talents to films undeserving of them.
And whats worse, he doesnt seem to mind.
Its a serviceable family film, and its much better thanMeet Dave.
But thats not much of a recommendation is it?
A few are more fun and child-friendly.
Plenty of outtakes too, most of them funnier than anything in the film.
And to round things off theres a commentary from director Kirkpatrick and Shahidi.
