Obviously, I dont think Rey is a Mary Sue, nor do I think Ahsoka is either.
Its almost like shes the manifestation of a critique of the Prequel universe.
Shes also not as gloomy and depressed as all the other Jedi are in the Prequels.
Ashoka has a positive attitude coupled with a believable personality.
InThe Clone Wars, Ahsoka gets fed up with this BS.
When she is falsely accused of bombing the Jedi Temple, the Jedi totally screw her over.
Most of this is because their bureaucratic power structure coupled with their stoic and detached attitudes.
Ahsoka is like Osgood onDoctor Who.
Shes like you and me.
AND shes pretty great with not one, but two lightsabers.
She is also apparently good at making deals with Darth Vader.
The bottom line here is clear: Vader could have killed her, but didnt.
Ahsoka could have killed him but didnt.
Not all heroes can conquer the bad things that happen to them.
Sometimes the only sensible thing to do is to simply walk away.
The memory of Han Solo will live on in some younger actor playing the character in a stand-alone movie.
But well always love Ahsoka Tano because of her bravery to get real about the awful situations she tolerated.
All of her friends turned into jerks and the galaxy she loved betrayed her.
But, Ahoska isnt bitter about it.
She just keeps on walking.
