This certainly invites comparisons to season twos One Mans Trash, but theyre not actually all that similar.
Its less like One Mans Trash and more likeMy Dinner with Andre.
Ill concede its easily the best episode of the season so far.
Its a difficult scenario to fall firmly on one side or the other.
Both Hannah and Palmer present convincing arguments.
Its so she feels like she exists.
He tells Hannah he wrote this before the girl wrote her Tumblr post.
She acts as though hes produced irrefutable proof when its actually very refutable indeed.
Theres still really just as much evidence he did sexually assault this girl as there is that he didnt.
Once Hannah and Palmer stop arguing, theres an artificiality to the rest of their interactions.
Read it aloud to me, Palmer commands Hannah, after handing her the story.
And then she does.
