So I think well be getting you know whats interesting is the feedback.

Was it more of a challenge for you because youve actually got to show the breakdown of society?

So in season one and then season two, we experience all the things that Rick Grimes missed.

Its about how that weighs on them subsequently and thats interesting.

It wasnt a money grab.

I think that we benefit from some of the slow burn, especially in the pilot.

I think thats a real benefit and a real opportunity for us as its a different approach.

Why was L.A. chosen as the key location?

Why not New York?

and most of them say, Absolutely not.

I think thats compelling.

Did you have specific actors in mind when writing certain characters?

Ooh, thats interesting, because there are so many.

I mean Michonnes an obvious choice, so Im not going to go with that.

The thing is theres an earnest quality to Nick, I mean Rick!

I like Daryl as well, hes a guy that just seems like a constant.

The western motifs in that show are strong and so prevalent.

I think I identify with him.

I love them all, thats the problem!
