At least part of that is due to the shows seeming return to its roots.
Any channel surfer unaware of the episodes premise might easily write it off as another re-run ofNCISorLaw & Order.
Thats where the similarities end.
Its hardly the first time Ive inspired a writer, Watson, Sherlock scoffs.
This cannot be helped.
Sherlock isnt humble here, but he certainly isnt arrogant either hes exactly what hes supposed to be.
Much of the credit for this goes to actor Jonny Lee Millers excellent delivery.
Anyone can pretend to be Sherlock Holmes; Miller doesnt even have to try.
Unfortunately for the British cast, it seems they may have some serious competition in the scrappy U.S. edition.
