Ten years have passed since the outbreak when the movie begins, and blood supplies are running low.
It just all happens after the sun goes down.
Thats not to say that there isnt gore, mind.
Given the films fantastical premise, it is reassuringly grounded in reality.
That said, even he has a few moments where the audience is left feeling almost sorry for him.
Its a nice mix of action, sci-fi and thriller, and the tension keeps up throughout.
Indeed, the films ending seems to scream sequel, and if they make it, Ill be there…
