The writers of Daredevil are giving that question its due weighty consideration.

But that presents us with a problem.

How do we approach reviews?

The episode opens with Matt fighting an honest-to-god ninja (and losing).

During the visit, Fisk himself shows up, rattling Matt and forcing him to excuse himself.

As the fight ends, Fisk turns up and goads Matt to try and kill him.

Matt succumbs to his rage, but hes too injured to win and gets beaten even further.

Well, I guess that settles the issue of whether or not Nobus connected to The Hand.

or whether its going to be part of a future series or the wider Netflix-leading-to-Defenders narrative.

But regardless, Im enjoying it.

Basically every major character has fought the Hand.

Although the comic references have slowed down lately, the shows own mythology is providing some excellent moments now.

Its rare you get to do the same twist twice in one episode, but here it works.

As a comics nerd, I did enjoy a few moments, though.

Hes really enjoying it.

I couldnt help but love it.

Just one of the ways Daredevil differs from other superheroes: weaponised Catholic guilt.

Will he be better than that, or will he sink to Fisks level?

Given the tone of the series, its hard to know for sure.

Personally, I stick with the adage that heroes, generally speaking, dont kill.

Certainly not if theres any other option.

It slightly undermines the entire argument.

Though maybe theyll follow it up.

And yes, that final scene.

Im guessing hes not going to be entirely pleased about this.
