Theres something I noticed about Bruce Willis duringCop Out.
While he doesnt look old, per se, hes got lines on his face.
That means, shock and horror, hes not getting Botox!
With every little wrinkle, I respect Bruce Willis that much more.
He looks experienced, but tough.
The good straight man in Bruce helps quite a bit.

The script, from Robb and Mark Cullen, just screams 80s cop movie.
Really, thats what it is.
Thats probably why the whole thing really came off as kind of like aFletchmovie.
From the humor to the overly complicated plot, this was basically Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as Fletch.
One of the things that amazed me aboutCop Outis that it wasnt static.
It just didnt look like a Kevin Smith movie.
Its not Kevin Smiths writing, but that might have helped the movie here.
US correspondent Ron Hogan had an 80s copgasm due to the soundtrack of Cop Out.
Hopefully synthesizers are making a comeback!
