Missed it at the cinema?
Then don’t miss one of 2009’s animated treats as it arrives on Blu-ray.
Instead, you end up, of all places, at Sonys front door.
The same Sony who released the cynically sweetOpen Seasonand its direct to DVD sequel.
The same Sony that has been to animation what Celine Dion has been to classic closing numbers for films.
And yet, cast your mind back a few years toMonster House.
And this year we had a real treat in the shape ofCloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.
Not as much as the animators, though.
Its not CG for the sake of being CG.
Its CG because that best fits the project.
Its really, really good fun too.
The Disc
The Blu-ray, as youd hope, looks brilliant, too.
Youre then left with a daft game, some added footage and a music video.
Its not a bad collection, but hardly essential.
The film is, though.
A warmly recommended Blu-ray…
