Better Call Saul Season 2 Episode 8
Better Call Saulmay not be a show for everyone.
Like me, he was aBreaking Baddevotee, and generally he exhibits a refined taste for television.
However, for whatever reason,Better Call Sauljust wasnt doing it for him.
That being said, I dont think tonights episode needed to lean on any tricks to make its case.
Fifi is a stellar hour of television with amusing highs and heartbreaking lows.
Kim meets with her client to convince them to follow her to her own private practice.
Unquestionably, Kim crushes her pitch with a nifty suit analogy that would makeMad Mens Don Draper proud.
Unfortunately, Kims win doesnt stick once Chuck gets wind of her departure and meets with Mesa Verde himself.
With Hamlin by his side, Chuck delivers a masterful reverse-psychology pitch like the old pro that he is.
Sadly for him, his debilitating made-up disorder causes the meeting to suck the life right out him.
The thread still feels fairly independent from Jimmys world, but its definitely compelling.
Who could ask for more?
