The life and times of puppeteer Kevin Clash are brought to the screen in Being Elmo.

Here’s Michael’s review of a charming documentary…

The timing couldnt be better, and, whats more, the film isnt half bad either.

His first audiences were neighbourhood kids, and he soon graduated to schools, hospitals, and local stages.

And then theres Elmo.

Elmo, we are told, represents love.

Nevertheless,Being Elmosucceeds precisely because of this lack of cynicism.

It is heartfelt, touching, and completely in keeping with the spirit of Hensons fuzzy-felt creations.

So why should Clash get all the attention?

Why dont the others get a look in?

Indeed, if there was ever a perfect time for a comprehensive Muppeteer documentary, wouldnt it be now?
