Did Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice end up sabotaging the future of the DC Extended Universe?

Well, not exactly.
However, the problem for the DC Extended Universe isnt one of economics.
Theres plenty of room for interpretation within that sentence, but its a constant, fairly unbending rule.
Theres no room for that kind of altruism or optimism in Zack Snyders DC Extended Universe, though.
Does that sound absurd?
Mr. Snyders clear hatred of Superman extends to his supporting cast as well.
Lets murder a Superman supporting character who has been around since 1938 without even bothering to name him!
Clearly, there is no room in Mr. Snyders mind for a character traditionally referred to as Supermans Pal.
Because concepts like friendship and loyalty are apparently meaningless in the DC Extended Universe.
In order for Superman to function in this world he must be isolated and alone.
Like Superman, Batman is open to many interpretations.
There are dozens of corpses left in Batmans wake inBatman v Superman.
Id like to remind you that Im aware of that.
Despite promises thattheJustice Leaguemovie will be lighterthanBatman v Superman, theres little to indicate thats the case.
Im not arguing for the one-size-fits all tonal approach of Marvel Studios.
