You wonder how long Chase has been planning all this.
Well, I guess that answer is when he lost his father, right?
But how long has he been plotting what hes going to do?
It all started at the very beginning, so hes been thinking about this since the very beginning.
Now, hes here [in Olivers life].
Segarra agrees that it presents an interesting complication to his character, saying… Its relative to what we have on screen.
Of course that makes sense.
The guy has a wife.
Segarra justifies that within the Chase character by tying it into what drives Prometheus.
Why is he doing what he does?
And, yeah, our families are part of that.
On what Prometheus will do next… That obviously wont be the case forever.
Because youve watched these men side by side.
Youve watched Oliver let Chase in.
Hes let him into the circle, and, now, his world got flipped upside-down.
So you will see very quickly, and I think its very fun to watch how Steve handles it.
What he does with it is very cool.
Chase has spent the entire season getting to know Oliver.
The meal is out.
Your plate is served.
Lets see how this goes now.
And I think that thats what hes been doing.
So, its definitely influenced how Chase has been handling it because hes gotten closer to Oliver, right?
He sees who matters in Olivers life.
Hes seeing who Oliver has soft spots for, right?
Who penetrates that armor?
Because thats what Chase is doing.
Speaking of people who matter to Oliver, lets talk Team Arrow.
(Have we mentioned that Chase wants to torture Oliver?
Because he really, really does.)
Heres what Segarra teased… Shes a piece of the puzzle that I know.
Hes coming for this guy, and he knows that pieces that matter to him.
Hes coming for them.
Um, watch out, Team Arrow.
