The 2015 Flash and Arrow crossover concludes, and sets up Legends of Tomorrow nicely.
Here’s our review.
Arrow Season 4 Episode 8
So.
Lets talk about Legends of Yesterday.
I didnt love Legends of Today last night.
I liked it, mind you.
But I had some trepidation coming into Legends of Yesterday.
For much of the first half of this episode, it felt like that was justified.
And really, the exposition Betamax tape was just entirely too much.
I dont want to sound ungrateful.
I fully expectLegends of Tomorrowto be great fun.

But then something happened.
Not just a goodArrowepisode.
A good Oliver Queen episode.
We havent had one of those in awhile.
Stephen Amell was terrific tonight.
But it was that scene with Felicity.
You know the one.
Usually Felicity is totally right, and she certainly isnt in the wrong here.
Great stuff from the both of them.
Tonally, this was too much of a roller coaster.
It probably would have served their story better, too.
Last yearsFlashandArrowcrossover was really two standalone episodes.
Maybe thats the way forward in future seasons.
Theres no moreLegends of Tomorrowset-up to be done, so its time for these main storylines to start mattering.
That being said, a few things were clarified tonight… Feel free to correct me if I missed something really obvious.
Cisco makes a reference to Nth Metal as an alloy made from the meteorites.
Nth Metal is what made the original Hawkman and Hawkgirl able to fly.
Could the meteorites have been from or a result of something involving the planet Thanagar?
That might be a fun way to tie things together.
So, Olivers son isnt Connor, but William.
Did we already know this?
Am I just losing my mind?
