One of 2009s most underappreciated films arrives on DVD.
And Adventureland surely deserves to find a bigger audience…
It might sound a bit drippy of me, but my favourite moment ofAdventurelandis probably a small one.
Im still chuckling about that now.
Actually, to be fair, lots ofAdventurelandhas stuck in my head.
Thats where he meets Joel, who in most movies would be a throwaway, two-dimensional character.
But you dont find those inAdventureland.
To be fair, the acting ensemble is led excellently from the top, too.
Its actually a lot more than that (with no disrespect toSuperbadintended there).
It helps that Eisenberg continually probes Mottola and asks questions, and Mottola then answers them properly.
Its the little things like that which tend to matter.
I really enjoyed this track, and its the strongest extra on the disc.
Its not bad as far as making-of documentaries go, but Id have liked a bit more detail.
