After catching a showing ofGrindhouselast week, a film that included death car in the synopsis just seemed unmissable. Could this be the 80sDeath Proof? Lakeshore entertainment sure thought so, even although they werent exactly right. When someone says Somebody should do something about it… tonight, it hits him hard. But of course, fat ladies could never kill. I suggest he gets a new tape, as that one is rubbish. He stops for some take out, and is attacked by some drunken thugs in a car....

His first truly great film wasTigerland. One of Joel Schumachers better efforts,Tigerlandlargely succeeds because of Farrells breakout role as Private Bozz. Thats not to say I didnt enjoy him in those films, far from it. It helps that this is a superb film....

The torture porn trend bores me and aggravates me in equal measure. Whats particularly irritating about those movies is their trite tabloid mentality; theyre never actually daring. Horror shouldnt be something you get your jollies from. I want to feel horrified....

Why then, is the platform so barren when it comes to decent games? There are more new additions to the game than the basic motion controls too. And, by slipstreaming behind another racer, you’re free to build up a quick boost. There are many more characters to unlock as well. The game mechanics are whats important though, and luckily, this Wii version has it where it counts. Its not all close combat though, and firearms can be acquired too. An interesting addition is Ethans alcoholism. This is all very CSI, and fits in well with the rest of the game play. Im sure the big question many people are asking is; Is it as scary as the first? Well, no, not really. But, the game doesnt quite reach the heights of fear of the first game. What the…funster? Heres the top ten butchered for TV screened movies! GhostbustersThis is an exceptionally violent and subversive movie which had to be tamed for TV! Zeddmore has now has seen stuff that will turn you white, eh?. Other offensively funny lines are cut, like the one Stantz makes when seeing Mr Stay-Puff. Disappointingly some of these changes were made possible because Ivan Reitman shot alternate takes expecting a TV backlash....
