Ridley Scott’s stint on the Hannibal Lecter franchise arrives on Blu-ray. Anyone fancy a chianti? Sadly, this brings the lecherous Krendler to the attention of Lecter. Of course, Lecter is smart. Hes not going to just walk blindly into the hands of his would be captors. Hopkins, as Lecter, is still brilliant, though occasionally the dialogue he delivers is clumsy. All said and done,Hannibalisnt a dreadful movie. Its not as good asSilenceorRed Dragon, but it still stands up relatively well....

His presence increases the viewing figures just as he encounters his own ghostly figure. Rankin seems to have grasped Constantines character with eerie confidence. DellEdera brings shadowy vision to the novel , his unfussy black-and-white illustrations offering pared-down detail for a more dynamicnoireffect. This is a confident launch to the Graphic Mystery series, in a uniquely-designed and bound volume....
