New York Based Millennial Comedies: Still Growing Up in the Big Apple

Millennial women living (and failing) in New York City has almost become a genre unto itself. And the pending question is why? All are very different and yet all cover the same landscape for Millennial comedies set in NYC. And it appealed to its post-grad (or almost post-grad) audience. We connected with her. It was the non-glamour of it all. But thats not truth. If Carrie Bradshaw and her friends were ten years younger, it wouldve looked a whole lot different....

Doctor Who: Peter Capaldi series 9 interview

I think theyre having a brilliant time. You have to pay for it somewhere down the line [laughs]. I think [the Doctor]s moving. So hes changed to some degree. But thats really because he has a profound knowledge of the past and the future. In this incarnation he is, I think, sometimes prone to… Hes wiser than he often says. Is the Joypad Putting off Casual Gamers?

To regular gamers, technology has moved from a stick to seemingly 11,000 buttons on a joypad. But this may be what’s putting non-gamers off. Were all familiar with the boiling frog analogy, right? Al Gore touched upon it inAn Inconvenient Truth. Nobody, thats who). It did not go well. Even on easy mode, it didnt help. I know, because I was one. In many ways, I think the PS4 controller is the finest Ive ever held....

Hes totally allowed to refer to himself in the third person if he feels like it. Hes Doctor Doom, and hes the greatest villain in the Marvel Universe. What he most certainly isnotis a movie star. Falling Skies: Stalag 14th Virginia Review

This review contains spoilers for the latest episode. Every week, I giveFalling Skiesa clean slate. This confusion made the mutiny seem choppy and ponderous to me overall. He could have easily been on the firing squad delivering his inspirational final words instead of Anne. Matt was already bringing Cochise, Dingaan, and the others. The triumphant moment felt flat even though I was overjoyed for the paranoid military plot to finally end....

William Shatner interview: Chaos On The Bridge, Star Trek

Yes, it did. You know, theres a conflict between the two roles of a writer-producer, which is what he was. Writers either accept that or get tired of it and quit, but it is a largely solitary venture. Do you agree with that? I think thats definitely a fair assessment. Ad content continues below Okay. So the opposite of that is somebody who produces a show. Now, when he came about later ontoThe Next Generation, he had evolved....

Hannibal: And the Beast From the Sea review

Dolarhyde goes after Wills family in one of Hannibals most suspenseful episodes of the season. How do you solve a problem like Will Grahams shiny new family? Well, if youre Hannibal Lecter, you send a serial killer to take them out. But Molly and Walter arent so easy to kill especially Molly. Wills wife may not be so good at making dog food from scratch (seriously, Will?) Fresh off his Blake snack, Francis Dolarhyde is more confused than ever....

The actor and director talk thrillers, working with kids and Watts next job (Spider-Man). Den Of Geek: I understand this was sparked up by an image in a dream that you had? Jon Watts: Yeah. Dark Matter: Episode Ten Review

This review contains spoilers for the most recent episode. With three installments to go, hopefully this new dynamic will lead to a reckoning for these former mercenaries. Im glad Two recognized the oh-so-convenient circumstance of the Mikkei Combine coming to their rescue in the opening scene. Or perhaps Twos secret healing powers will aid her with her shocking ejection into space from the airlock. What a way to end an episode!...

Defiance: Of a Demon in My View review

Its an understated build-up, though, however you look at it. Im guess Im okay with that other than that there wasnt much payoff or consequence to her departure. Other, non-Omec-related aspects of the story were similarly muted although satisfactory in the end. Stahmas confinement brought some interesting moments between her and Andina, the Tarrs handmaiden, for example. Cant wait to see how they get out of this mess! Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Games nobody talks about anymore: The NewZealand Story

Kidnapping, giant mazes and a Kiwi with a bow and arrow. Its all part of the surreal world of Taitos NewZealand Story… Cute smile, vicious bite. Thats the best way to describeThe NewZealand Story,a colourful platformer first released by Taito in 1988. Consider the scenario first. Mazes are narrow and full of hazards. Spikes will kill you with a solitary touch. Stretches of water will drown you if you dont swim through them quickly enough....
